Alpha Phi Quarterly Awards!

Last week, Arden Schuman (Iota Eta-DePaul), Marketing and Communications Program Manager for Alpha Phi attended the Fraternity Communications Association's (FCA) Annual Conference. FCA is composed of fraternities and sororities committed to communicating the highest ideals of the fraternity system and its achievements. Their annual event is an amazing opportunity for Greek organizations to network, learn new skills and share their knowledge with each other.

It's also an opportunity to be recognized by Greek peers during the Fraternity Communications Association (FCA) / North American Interfraternal Foundation (NIF) awards competition.

We're proud to report that Alpha Phi's Quarterly came away with two awards this year:
Second Place, Fred F. Yoder Award for Overall Excellence. The award recognizes general excellence of a total publication as demonstrated in all issues of a magazine, newsletter or tabloid published within a year.

Second Place, Feature Article Design for the Fall 2008 feature “
Women and Voting.” The award honors creativity of feature article layouts of more than two pages in a magazine, newsletter or tabloid.
Given the quality and talent seen during the conference and among the award winners, we are especially honored to be chosen by our Greek peers for these awards.

Thank you to all the organizations and individuals who participated in this amazing conference. It is another reminder of the interfraternal community that we are all a part of and the great work that Greeks are doing everywhere!
